Visionary artist Marcos Antonio was born in Dominican Republic and moved to the United States when he was 17 in search of a better life. Marcos immediately embraced the American spirit, and after completing high school, he honorably served in the U.S. military.
His artistic career started with the launch of his own cosmetic line, which was the perfect introduction to the world of paint. In his words: “I essentially spent fourteen years mixing color. That experience was the best foundation for a painter.”
His unique life experiences lead him to travel the world using art as a medium to unite people of all countries, races and backgrounds. After years of working abroad on his project “Impressions of Humanity,” Marcos teamed up with long time friend and like minded entrepreneur Chris Cavedon with the goal of bringing hope to America. The duo, along with 4000 Americans from 500 cities, came together to create a national treasure - the Flag for Hope.
