Bonnie Blair Cruikshank is the most-decorated woman in Winter Olympic history. She was awarded a Flag for Hope Star in recognition of her incredible speed-skating career that includes 5 gold and 1 bronze Olympic medal, and 3 world championships.

In addition to Bonnie Blair’s record-breaking skating career, she founded the Bonnie Blair Charitable Fund in 1995, to give back to her community. She currently serves as Vice President for the Pettit National Ice Center. The Pettit Ice Center is an Official U.S. Olympic Training Site, with a speed skating Oval and two international-size hockey rinks. It has been instrumental in the development of U.S. speed skaters to compete for and win Olympic medals and has been host to regional, national and international competitions.
